The first report establishes your baseline. Every subsequent year adds a data point. By year 3 or 4, the trend line is reliable enough to project exactly when replacement will be needed, plus or minus a year.

The score is based on visible condition factors: granule loss, shingle curling, flashing condition, debris accumulation, and ponding evidence. It is not a guess. It is a measurement.
