When you request an estimate, schedule an inspection, or contact us, we may collect the following information:

- Property address and service location
- Property details such as roof type, square footage, and roof measurements
- Project preferences and notes you provide
- Browser type, IP address, and device information collected via cookies
- How you found us (referral source, ad campaign)
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve our roofing, solar, storm restoration, and construction services:
- Generate accurate estimates based on your property details
- Schedule inspections and coordinate project timelines
- Communicate with you via SMS, MMS, email, or phone about your estimate, inspection, appointment scheduling, project updates, deposit or payment reminders, estimate or document delivery, severe weather and storm-related service updates, account verification or security codes, customer care, and occasional promotional offers related to your property request
- Process payments and send invoices
- Improve our services, website, and customer experience
- Send relevant updates about your project status
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate:
- Stripe — for secure payment processing
- Telnyx — for SMS/MMS communications, appointment reminders, estimate follow-up, project updates, deposit or payment reminders, estimate or document delivery, severe weather and storm-related service updates, account verification or security codes, and customer care
- Vercel — for website hosting and performance
- Supabase — for secure data storage with encryption at rest
Each provider is contractually required to protect your data. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our customers and business.
SMS and Mobile Information
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number and SMS consent only to communicate with you about Vulcan Construction services you requested or consented to receive.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in data and text messaging consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their promotional or marketing purposes.
We may share mobile information with service providers who help us send and manage text messages, such as Telnyx, but they are only permitted to use that information to provide messaging services for Vulcan Construction.
Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages, or HELP for help.
Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Active leads and estimates — retained for 2 years
- Completed projects — retained for 7 years (warranty and tax compliance)
- Cookies and browser data — retained for 1 year
After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@vulcanconstruction.com.
We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.
CCPA Rights (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with additional rights:

- Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data)
