A branded 12-page PDF hits your inbox in about 5 minutes. Download, print, or forward it to anyone.
Most homeowners have no idea what condition their roof is in until something goes wrong — a leak during a storm, a failed home inspection, or an insurance claim that gets denied because the damage wasn’t documented in time. A satellite roof inspection changes that.
Using high-resolution satellite imagery from the Google Solar API combined with OpenStreetMap building data, we measure your actual roof surface area, identify visible issues from above, and generate a professional 12-page condition report. The entire process is automated — you enter your address, our system pulls the latest satellite imagery, runs the analysis, and delivers a branded PDF to your inbox.
This is the same technology that solar installers use to design panel layouts without ever climbing on your roof. We’ve repurposed it for condition assessment, combining raw satellite measurements with our proprietary scoring algorithm to estimate remaining roof life, flag visible defects, and provide a material-specific replacement cost estimate.
The report is useful whether you’re planning to sell your home, filing an insurance claim, budgeting for a future replacement, or just want to know where things stand. Real estate agents use it to de-risk listings. Insurance policyholders use it to document pre-storm conditions. Property managers use it to prioritize maintenance across portfolios.
Because the analysis runs entirely on satellite data and public records, it works for any residential address in the United States. There’s no need to be in our physical service area — if Google has imagery of your roof (and they have imagery for over 99% of US addresses), we can generate the report.
Every report includes measured roof area in square feet, estimated remaining life (low and high range), visible defect flags for missing shingles, ponding water, vent damage, and debris. You also get a material assessment, a replacement cost estimate based on current local pricing, and a licensed contractor sign-off from Vulcan Construction.
The report is yours to keep, share, print, or forward to your insurance agent, realtor, or contractor. There are no subscriptions, no upsells at checkout, and no one is going to call you to schedule a follow-up visit (unless you want us to).

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is a satellite roof inspection compared to a physical inspection?
Satellite inspections measure roof area to within 2-5% of manual measurements and can identify visible issues like missing shingles, ponding, and vent damage. They cannot detect issues hidden beneath the surface (like underlayment deterioration or flashing leaks). For most homeowners, a satellite report is sufficient for planning purposes. If we flag serious issues, we recommend a follow-up physical inspection.
Does this work for any address in the US?
Yes. We use the Google Solar API and OpenStreetMap data, which cover over 99% of US residential addresses. If satellite imagery is unavailable for your specific address (rare, usually very new construction), we will refund your purchase.
How quickly will I receive the report?
Most reports are delivered within 5 minutes of payment. In rare cases where additional data processing is needed, delivery may take up to 30 minutes.
Can I use this report for an insurance claim?
The satellite inspection report documents your roof’s current condition with measured data. Many homeowners use it as supporting documentation for insurance claims. For a complete claim-ready package, consider our Insurance Claim Packet which includes NOAA storm verification and Xactimate-compatible line items.
What if I’m not satisfied with the report?
If the report cannot be generated due to insufficient satellite data, we issue a full refund. If you receive the report and find it inaccurate, contact us within 90 days and we will re-run the analysis or refund your purchase.
